Noam Shany - co-author of the first guide to the birds of Peru. Consultant to the Governments of Peru and Angola for the development of ecotourism between the years 2002-2005, and 2019-2020. He is the main author of the national strategic plan for the development of sustainable tourism in Peru. The implementation of this plan resulted in a spectacular growth in tourism (from 300,000 to more than 4 million between 2003 to the present). Member of the Regional Tourism Council of Loreto, Peru, and author of the Regional Strategic Tourism Plan. Specialist in tourism development with rural communities with an emphasis on ecotourism and experiential tourism. Passionate bird watcher who has traveled to more than 100 countries to rank among the top 25 birdwatchers in the world.

Pedro Casals - professional of digital communication media, has worked in satellite and cable television platforms, has been vice president of HBO Mexico and Central America, and was in charge of promoting the Universal Forum of Cultures in Barcelona 2004 through international media. He currently advises PlayGround, a leading medium in Spanish on social media, and is developing agriculture and ecotourism projects in Angola.

Arnon Dattner - has a MA in zoology, and is a Socio-environmental entrepreneur with extensive experience in developing ecotourism and environmental initiatives. During the last 13 years he has trained more than 200 nature tourist guides in Peru, Nicaragua and Costa Rica as well as volunteers from 15 countries. He prepared environmental education programs that reached 160,000 children. Director and cameraman of nature documentaries for Eco Planet Films.

Karin Dayana Mayorga Olivas - has an ecotourism degree from the Autonomous University of Nicaragua. She worked as a tour operator and in organizing courses to train ecotourism guides in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Great expert in managing multi-cultural teams.

Ken Behrens - is an ecotourism consultant with vast experience in planning, marketing and advising on ecotourism projects. He has guided ecotourists in over 50 countries in 6 continents, and for the last 13 years has called Africa home. He is also an accomplished author and photographer who has written many books on different aspects of ecology and ecotourism in Africa. Ken is the co-host of the Naturally Adventurous podcast, a creator of many popular “virtual birding” tours, and co-creator of the Online School of Birding.
